What's a Dogman?
Almost everyone you've met has heard about Bigfoot. Few people realize though, there's another, much more frightening type of bipedal cryptid stalking the deepest, darkest woods of North America and beyond! Of course; I'm talking about Dogmen. "What's a Dogman," you ask? Well, that's a difficult question to answer, because no one really knows.
The easiest way to describe what a Dogman looks like would be to say, they look like what you'd expect a Werewolf to look like. They're not Werewolves though. They're not a human who has somehow magically transformed into a beast. While Dogmen don't all look the same, the subject to the right, in my logo, is a good representation of what a Dogman CAN look like. Dogmen are commonly reported as being 6 to 8 feet tall (when standing upright, on 2 legs). Eyewitnesses have reported seeing much bigger specimens though. They're ears are most commonly reported as looking like cropped ears you'd see on a doberman pinscher. They're usually reported as being very muscular, but not always. Also, eyewitnesses commonly report that the Dogman they encountered smelled like rotting meat, trash, urine, hay, or a combination of all those smells. Some eyewitnesses don't report smelling anything at all though, when they encountered a Dogman, at close range.
They're sometimes seen in groups and are usually seen in remote, forested areas, but not always. Eyewitnesses HAVE reported seeing them inside the city limits of some major cities, like Dallas and Cincinnati, for example.
Some eyewitnesses, because of what they saw the Dogman they encountered do, think Dogmen are supernatural. Other eyewitnesses are convinced they're flesh and blood, because of what they observed, during their encounter.
One of the most frustrating things about Dogmen is the lack of answers to all of the questions they pose. The more I learn about them, the more I realize I just don't know.
